Zainab holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical Applications of Psychology from the University of Hull, UK.
 
She has worked as a psychotherapist and psychometrist in both private practice and community healthcare centres—including in a previous stint at Central Ontario Psychology. She then worked as a psychometrist conducting neuropsychological assessments with injured workers at Trillium Health Partners, and as a rehab therapist at CBI Health, supporting clients on long term disability to improve their mental health and successfully return to work.
 
Zainab has expertise in supporting clients with various conditions including depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, and pain. She has a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental personality. She strives to create a safe space that encourages openness and a therapeutic relationship built around trust. She offers a collaborative approach to therapy and utilizes evidence-based interventions to help her clients find joy and a greater purpose in life.
 
Zainab is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP). She is also a Clinical Apprentice, working towards joining the College of Psychologists of Ontario.  We're thrilled to have her back as she continues her journey towards registration with CPO!
 
Zainab provides psychological services under the supervision of registered psychologists.
