Our Fees
At Central Ontario Psychology, we firmly believe in increased, equitable access to psychological care. We work towards making this happen by working closely with the Ontario Psychological Association, and supporting its efforts. Unfortunately, psychological services in private practices are not currently covered by OHIP, and it's still difficult to access psychological care in publicly funded settings.
The standard fee for psychological services is $225 per hour. However, in an effort to make our services more affordable, we are often able to reduce our standard fees. Our services are often covered by Extended Health Benefits plans, though the annual limits can vary considerably; please consult your plan for details.
Services provided by an associate under our supervision may be available at a reduced cost, but note that some plans do not accept this arrangement. If you are to be seen by a supervisee, it's important to ensure your benefits will cover it. We have developed a guide for communicating to your insurance provider about supervised services; please click here.
In addition to Extended Health Benefits, our services may be covered by WSIB, long term disability providers, or Veterans Affairs Canada.
We regret that, due to low reimbursement and onerous administrative demands, we will no longer accept new referrals for motor vehicle accidents.
