When psychologists provide supervision, they retain full legal and ethical responsibility for the management of the case.
​Supervision offers a number of advantages:

• By supervising others, psychologists are able to ensure high-quality services are offered to a larger number of people, thereby dramatically reducing wait times 
• Supervision allows us to share our knowledge and experience with more recent graduates
• Clients who need to be seen more quickly, or who may not be able to afford the full fees, may find that our supervised associates provide a faster, cost-effective alterntative
• Teaching can be a two-way street--the process of supervising forces us to think about how and why we do what we do, and helps to keep us up to date

Please be familiar with your insurance plan.  Not all plans will cover the services of a psychologist when those services are provided through supervision.
