Patapia Tzotzoli is a fully licensed clinical psychologist in the UK, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She is a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Association of Clinical Psychologists (ACP) as well as as the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations (EuroPsy). In 2020, she moved to Canada and is working toward joining the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario.
Patapia studied at the Universities of East London, Oxford, and Cambridge. She trained in the UK's oldest Clinical Psychology program within the Department of Psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) at King’s College London. Her specialist placements were across three world-renowned NHS Trusts: South London & Maudsley, King’s College Hospital, and Guy’s & St. Thomas’, collectively known as King’s Health Partners. In recent years,Ms. Tzotzoli has been running her own clinic in the UK, seeing clients both in person and online. Previously, she held a post as a neuropsychologist in the Department of Neuropsychology at Queen’s Hospital, Romford, within the Barking, Havering, and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. Prior to this, she worked as a clinical psychologist & research director at the Neurosurgery Clinic and Gamma Knife Department at Hygeia Hospital in Athens, Greece. Patapia envisions a world where mental health is understood and openly embraced, believing that our relationship with mental health determines the quality of our lives and those around us. She asserts that caring for our mental health is not just an entitlement but our responsibility and right, as well as a fundamental requirement for growing into a healthy, functional adult and, ultimately, contributing to a healthier society. She creates a warm and nurturing environment, collaborating on evidence-based, customized interventions with her clients.
