Maaike Canrinus is a licensed clinical and school psychologist. She holds a Master's degree in Clinical/Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of Guelph, as well as additional graduate level training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from OISE/University of Toronto. She has worked with children and youth at York Region District School Board, Children's Treatment Network of York/Simcoe, Georgian College, University of Toronto, and in private practice settings.
Maaike provides comprehensive psychological assessments to support better understanding of how individual students think, learn, feel and behave. Maaike also provides therapy to help children, youth, and their parents make changes to enhance well being and positively impact functioning. Maaike is passionate about developing positive and collaborative relationships with clients in order to support their own goals and needs.
Maaike lives in Barrie with her husband and two young children. In her spare time, she loves to knit, sew, run, and be outdoors with family and friends.
